Office of Human Services is to provide comprehensive and coordinated services within the following areas: Adult Services, Aging, Children & Youth, Drug & Alcohol, homeless assistance and Communtiy Mental Health / Mental Retardation programs. The Office also provides support to local food assistance.
Goals and Objectives
The goal of the Department of Human Services to develop a organizatinal structure for consolidating the county’s human service programs through a coordinated delivery system and to maintain the current level of services and continue to provide for the Human Services Development Fund, homeless assistance program, Family Grant, fatherhood Initiative, Temporary Emergency Food Assistance program and the Medical Assistance program.
